Get job-ready

Five steps, then we start matching you to jobs

Everyone who comes to us for job placement walks the same path first. It is not a hoop to jump through — each step produces something you keep, and by the end we know enough about you to put you in front of the right employer instead of the next opening on the list.

    Common questions

    How long does it take?

Five contact hours in total, and you do not have to do them all at once. Most people spread the steps across a few weeks around work, school, and family. Tell us your constraints at intake and we will build the schedule around them.

What if I have done some of this already?

Bring it with you. If you already have a resume, step 3 becomes us sharpening the one you wrote instead of starting from scratch; if you finished a job-readiness course elsewhere, we shape the training session around what you already know. Everyone completes all five steps, because the certificate says five contact hours — but no step wastes your time repeating what you have done.

Do I have to do this to use the site?

No. Browsing jobs, training, funding, and apprenticeships is open to everyone, no account and no forms. The five steps are for placement — when you want our team actively matching you with employers and advocating for you.

    Where does mentorship fit?

Alongside all of it. Youth participants can be matched with a mentor through PASE™ (Planting a STEM for Excellence!™), and adults with a coach or peer supporter. Read about mentorship.

Nothing you type here is stored on this website. Submitting opens an email to our team from your own email app — you stay in control of what you send, and you can edit or delete anything before it goes.

Under 18? A parent, guardian, or someone on your school staff can send this for you — or sit with you while you send it.
